Childhood memories are always the best.
One of my favorite memories was my back yard.
My dad worked hard over the years to make our yard amazing.
But he had one section that only he had control over.
The kitchen area was his domain!
We didn't have one little grill no not us.
We had two gas grills, a charcoal grill, a deep fryer,
a smoker, and an out door stove top.
When dad does something he does it right.
We didn't grill just in the summer,
We grilled all year long, come rain or snow!
But Memorial Day through Labor Day it was just better.
I looked forward to the smells fill the yard,
And I thank my dad for the love of grilling.
I just hope when I have kids I can instill that love also.
